PRESIDENT / CEO
With over 34 years’ experience in real estate investment, development, finance, and services, Ken Fridley is the founder and President / CEO of Strategic Asset Solutions. Since 2000, Mr. Fridley has been involved in the acquisition or development of over US$6.0 billion of real estate assets in Japan, China and South Korea.
In December 2011, Mr. Fridley founded Nippon ResCap Investors K.K., a real estate investment manager focused on acquiring and multifamily residential assets located in Japan. In 2015, Nippon ResCap was merged with the Capbridge Group creating Capbridge Investors and expanding the focus to include logistics assets and corporate sale leasebacks.
From 2006-2009, Mr. Fridley was President of New City Asia Partners L.P., a real estate private equity fund sponsored by New City Corporation (NCC). Prior to overseeing the fund, Mr. Fridley was Vice Chairman responsible for capital markets activities, international operations, and a member of the Investment Committee.
From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Fridley was Executive Vice President of CBRE Investors Japan where he executed major investment strategies on behalf of the firm’s separate account clients. Mr. Fridley is a member of ULI Japan’s Sustainable Development Council.
SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT
With over 20 years’ experience in Asia building and growing organizations in the automotive and industrial markets, Mike Corry is Senior Vice President of Strategic Asset Solutions where he is responsible for identifying potential clients in need of corporate real estate solutions. Having worked with numerous multinational companies, Mr. Corry has a deep understanding of the financial and operational challenges faced in these industries.
Mr. Corry previously served as the Global Vice President – Japanese OEMs for Eagle Ottawa based in Tokyo, Japan. As a member of Eagle Ottawa’s Executive leadership team, he was responsible for the commercial leadership of the Japanese automotive accounts globally.
Other career experience includes various senior commercial leadership positions throughout Asia to include President & General Manager (Japan) at Husky Injection Molding Systems and Director, Business Development with Johnson Controls in Korea. He is a retired Major in the U.S. Marine Corps (Reserve).
Mr. Corry holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and Masters of International Management from Thunderbird School of Global Management
